In talking with one of my mentors about cigars, We were standing in the humidor at my preferred local B&M. A favorite cigar of mine having a sweetened cap, and that I was having a craving for a sweeter cigar. (A heresy to some.)

He pondered for a moment. Then he snapped his fingers and gestured to a lovely display for “A girl with No Name.”

This Cigar, being a collaboration between “Deadwood Tobacco Co.” and ”Drew Estate” quickly caught my curiosity. So, I threw it on my tab and stepped outside to smoke it.

The Cigar is the newest in the Deadwood line by Drew Estate. All four selections thus far are named after characters based off of the Wild West town of Deadwood, South Dakota. (Which has its own badass history I will be sharing on another day.)

As for the cigar itself, I’d recommend using a punch tool. This will keep as much of the sweetened cap intact as possible.

Upon placing it in my mouth to light, I was hit with a rich, sweet, cocoa-y flavor. And, with the toasting and lighting, a very deep, dark, chocolaty, creamy flavor came through. All of which merged together to taste like I was drinking a hot chocolate with marshmallows.

The cigar gave a really nice footsmoke as well that reminded me of a vintage bakery fragrance. The cigar was so smooth and the retrohale was even smoother. Without bringing so much as a tear to my eye.

You can easily pair this with almost any dessert, or a sweeter beverage. Making it a perfect after dinner cigar. And a perfect cigar for anyone to start the cigar enjoyment hobby with. And I could easily see this becoming a daily smoke.

With a price range between $8-$11, I highly recommend this cigar to have a place in anyone’s humidor.
