This tasty morsel from Toque’s “Otto” line is a Germanic style Schmalzler. It had a light ammonia scent upon opening the tin which proved its exceptional freshness.

Upon sniffing, my nose detected a distinctive aroma. It was reminiscent of new leather boots and lemon, with a just a hint of mild sweetness.

Overall, it’s a simple snuff that has a nice feel. And it would be perfect for any beginner.
