Merchant & Affiliate Ethics Statement
Our Commitment
Quack Pack Tabac is committed to penning ethical recommendations, honest reviews, and respectful partnerships. If a product is discussed positively, it has truly earned that mention. A favorable review is never attached to potential merchant nor affiliate relationships/commissions.
Any merchant, brand, or affiliate mentioned on this site is expected to meet basic standards of professionalism. They must also show decency and respect toward customers. Additionally, they should respect the broader community.
Our recommendations are made in good faith. We understand that how people are treated matters as much as the products being sold.
What We Expect from Merchants & Affiliates
We expect merchants and affiliates to:
- Treat all customers with basic human dignity and respect
- Communicate professionally and responsibly
- Refrain from discriminatory, demeaning, or abusive language
- Show respect towards all people (including those with disabilities and/or who are neurodivergent)
- Conduct business in a manner consistent with ethical and professional standards
These expectations are not negotiable.
Zero Tolerance for Disrespect
We do not tolerate bullying or mockery, especially toward people with disabilities.
Any merchant or affiliate who engages in harassment, discriminatory remarks, or demeaning behavior toward individuals or groups will face consequences. They will not be recommended on this platform. They will not be supported or promoted here.
This includes behaviors which occur:
- In direct customer interactions
- On social media or public forums
- In private communications that later come to light
If a merchant demonstrates a pattern of disrespectful or harmful behavior, we reserve the right to take several actions. We may remove business name references. We may also remove merchant links we surfaced as a courtesy. Additionally, we may revoke any previous recommendations. And, finally, we can choose to entirely sever merchant or affiliate relationships at our discretion.
Editorial Independence
All content on Quack Pack Tabac is subject to editorial oversight. Neither Merchant nor affiliate relationships influence:
- What we publish
- How products are evaluated or discussed
- Whether a merchant is recommended
- Whether a merchant is featured (or excluded)
We keep full discretion over what appears on the site. We reserve the right to decline any merchant or affiliate relationship that does not align with our values. We may also entirely discontinue any such affiliation.
Transparency & Accountability
Our goal is to provide readers with thoughtful, informative content in a space that is welcoming and safe. Supporting or promoting merchants who behave unethically would undermine that goal, and we will not do so.
Ethical conduct, professionalism, and respect are baseline requirements, not optional “extras.“
In Closing
Quack Pack Tabac exists to educate, inform, and foster respectful discussion. Merchants and affiliates who share those values are welcome here. Those who do not should not expect our endorsement.
Offering kindness, maintaining decency, and accepting accountability matters.
All of that being said, merchant and affiliate relationships do not decide our opinions. Once again–for good measure–these relationships do not/will not influence editorial decisions. Ever.
