Hi!
I’m CariAnne. I am a bliss-chasing, sparkle-loving, mildly domesticated magical creature in the third act of life. I am rediscovering my inner flamingo, which is rosy and fabulous, as I am finally off nest-duty.
I am happily married to my best friend and co-conspirator in all things cozy. I’m the proud mom of two fully grown humans. (How that happened, I’ll never know!) I also have a bonus daughter who brings color to my life. These days, I’ve earned the glittery title of Gigi to my five-year-old granddaughter. She is now an official handful with all of the energy of a highly caffeinated tornado.
My fur baby, Pixie the shih-poo, rules our home with a velvet paw and an expertly executed side-eye. She is spoiled, adored, and probably plotting her next treat heist.
I love crafting, making junk journals, and scrapbooking. Writing and playing Guild Wars 2 make me feel a lot more heroic than in real life. Although I do get lost. In Guild Wars. Not in real life. Most of the time, anyway.
I enjoy collecting shiny things, much like a magpie in possession of a Michaels rewards card. Reading and binge-watching TV shows are my jam. Housework? Not so much. But alas, if you don’t do it, entropy wins. Plus, I wouldn’t want to lose track of my glitter…
In this chapter of life, I’ve discovered that I apparently love making websites. I have created far too many of them, at any rate. Happily, however, I’m helping my son build this platform for cigar, snuff, and tobacco enthusiasts. I don’t partake myself. Although Madison has managed to have me try snuff. And a puff of one of his cigars.
Dreams are just meant to be supported. Plus, I suppose I make a mean landing page.
I spend time adventuring with my family or getting lost in a crafting rabbit hole. When I’m not doing the items mentioned, above, I’m building my own little place on the Internet.
Oh. And I love coffee. I’m probably drinking some right now, actually.
