This is a classic from the legendary Pöschl Tabak company and is, without a doubt, a snuff everyone should have somewhere in their stash.
From beginners to snuffing veterans, this snuff has it all.
The box design is gorgeous, similar to the standard Gletcher Prise, but with an off-white/bone color scheme accented by gold and blue. It looks flashy, with the shadows of the glaciers (or Gletchers) highlighted in blue. You can’t help but think the box looks at least a little cool.
It has a light, fluffy grind and is very lightly oiled. You’re introduced with a pepperminty, vanilla-like sweetness, and it sits comfortably in the nose. There is some drip, but nothing a hanky can’t fix. At least regarding the back drip. When it hits your tongue, you won’t gag; instead, you’ll feel a minty, cooling sensation.
Even as I’m writing this, I have the tap box in my pocket, awaiting my next boof.
The only drawback? It only comes in small tins. I’d love it if these came in 100g bags similar to their Schmalzer’s line, but maybe that’s just me. haha!
